Artist's Description
The Louvre is one of the most famous attractions in Paris. This magnificent architectural monument, which once served as the home of the French kings, is today the most famous museum in the world, where connoisseurs of art from all over the world aspire. The main courtyard (Cour Napoléon) houses the Louvre Pyramid, a large pyramid of glass and metal surrounded by three smaller pyramids. The Louvre pyramid has become almost the most mysterious and attractive point of all tourist routes in Paris after the release of Dan Brown's megabestseller "Da Vinci Code." True, contrary to Brown's assumptions, glass panels in it are not 666. Guides to the Louvre calls the unremarkable figure 673.
