Artist's Description
Skyline of Tokyo in vintage style. The Greater Tokyo Area with a population of 37.2 million people is the largest metropolis in the world. Compared to the cities of Western Europe, the capital of Japan is relatively free from historical and formal restrictions, and therefore it has many ultra-modern buildings. In the second half of the twentieth century, Tokyo became an experimental field for the implementation of bold decisions of both Japanese and foreign architects who competed among themselves in attempts to surpass others, showing their individuality.
